Crime
12/12/2024 – Report of a theft of a catalytic converter and spare wheel from a van parked on Brenley Lane. Forensic opportunities identified.
16/12/2024 – Report of a theft of ladders from the roof of a work van parked on Brenley Lane.
19/12/2024 – Report of criminal damage to a £1,000 television at a business along Brickfield Lane. Lines of enquiries followed, and a suspect identified. Interview conducted and offence admitted, agreement made to pay back the business.
01/01/2025 – A victim of domestic abuse has reported 18 months’ worth of incidents to Kent Police. The allegations cover all types of domestic abuse and have happened across a range of locations including Boughton-under-Blean. The allegations remain under investigation.
10/01/2025 – In the early hours officers have seen 5 males seen at the rear of a HGV lorry parked on Stocker’s Hill. All persons have run away from officers, but 1 detained and a small knife found on their person. Suspect charged with offence.
Anti-Social behaviour
12/12/2024 – Report of continued Class B drug use in a private dwelling within a block of flats. Housing association have told resident to report this to police, no mention of whether housing association would also investigate or take action against the resident.
