Residents of Boughton under Blean are being asked to complete a questionnaire about the future of the timber play equipment located at Bull Lane recreation ground.
The Parish Council owns and maintains the recreation ground and all the equipment on it. The majority of the timber equipment was purchased in 2010 and is reaching the end of its expected life. Maintenance of the equipment is currently funded by the Parish Council via public money collected from residents’ council tax. The ongoing maintenance/replacement costs are expensive and we are considering options on how to fund this in the future.
We want to engage with our community and welcome your thoughts, so as a council we can make an informed decision on how we move forward. Please complete a short online questionnaire to share your views. Paper copies of the questionnaire will be available at the library.
The consultation will run for 6 weeks and close on 17th March 2025.
