CLOCKHOUSE LANE, BOUGHTON UNDER BLEAN

PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

To allow level crossing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean.

A closure is planned from 26th January 2025 for up to one day, between the hours of 06:00 and 19:00, or where stated on a  valid Permit (KL870FDM-53-51-260125-01 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these  orks with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works  will be displayed on One.Network

Clockhouse Lane will be closed 20m either side of the level  crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and  workforce while level crossing works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Clockhouse Lane, Selling Road, Brenley Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
